- Begin by greasing a 9x9 inch baking dish with unsalted butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large pot over medium heat, add 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter and stir until it melts and bubbles.
- Stir in 10 ounces of mini marshmallows and keep stirring until they melt and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in 1 teaspoon of cotton candy flavoring and food coloring.
- Gently fold in 3 cups of Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and press down firmly.
- Allow to cool completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, remove from the pan and cut into squares or shapes.
