- Wrap the seasoned onion tightly in aluminum foil and place it in a baking dish.

- Roast the onion in the oven for about 1 hour, checking for fork tenderness.

- Optional: After roasting, open the foil, drizzle more butter, and broil for 5-10 minutes until golden.

- Let the onion cool slightly before serving. Peel back layers and drizzle with pan juices.
