- Start by preparing your 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Line it with parchment paper or spray it generously with cooking spray.
- In a large pot, melt half a cup of unsalted butter over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until fully melted.
- Add 16 ounces of mini marshmallows and a pinch of salt to the melted butter and stir over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until smooth.
- Remove the pot from heat and fold in 5 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and 16 chopped Oreo cookies.
- Microwave 1/3 cup of peanut butter for about 15 seconds until soft and drizzle it over the mixture, folding gently.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly and pressing down firmly.
- Let the treats cool at room temperature for at least one hour before slicing.
