Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by preparing your 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Line it with parchment paper or spray it generously with cooking spray.
  2. In a large pot, melt half a cup of unsalted butter over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until fully melted.
  3. Add 16 ounces of mini marshmallows and a pinch of salt to the melted butter and stir over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and fold in 5 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and 16 chopped Oreo cookies.
  5. Microwave 1/3 cup of peanut butter for about 15 seconds until soft and drizzle it over the mixture, folding gently.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly and pressing down firmly.
  7. Let the treats cool at room temperature for at least one hour before slicing.
