Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of softened butter, ½ tablespoon of garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon of dried parsley. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each of the 4 slices of bread.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat and place two slices of bread, butter-side down, onto the skillet. Evenly distribute 1 cup of shredded cheese on top of each slice.
- Top each cheesy layer with the remaining two slices of bread, butter-side up. Press down gently to help the sandwiches hold together while grilling.
- Carefully monitor the sandwiches as you cook them over low heat for 4-5 minutes until the bread turns golden brown.
- Once the bottom is golden, gently flip the sandwiches to grill the other side for another 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese from the skillet and let them sit for just a moment to cool slightly. Then slice them in half and serve hot.
