Step-by-Step Instructions
- Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine 1 packet of active dry yeast and a teaspoon of sugar with ¾ cup of warm water (110°F). Stir gently and let it sit for about 10 minutes, or until the mixture becomes frothy and bubbly.

- Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour in the yeast mixture, along with ¼ cup of plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons of oil. Mix until combined, then knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

- Rising Time: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp kitchen towel. Let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

- Shape the Naans: Punch down the risen dough, divide it into 8 equal pieces, and roll each piece into an oval about 8 inches long.

- Cook the Naans: Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Grease lightly, place one naan, and cook for about 1 minute until bubbles form. Flip and cook for another minute until golden brown. Repeat for all naans.

- Finishing Touches: Mix 2 tablespoons of melted butter with 2-3 cloves of minced garlic, and brush on each naan after cooking. Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley.
