- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add 1 pound of lean ground beef and 4 cloves of minced garlic. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in 1 diced yellow onion and cook until softened, around 3-4 minutes. Deglaze with a splash of beef broth if needed.
