Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by prepping your fresh ingredients for the Sweet & Spicy Pickle Slaw. Shred about four cups of green cabbage and grate one cup of fresh carrots. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, half a cup of chopped dill pickles, and a quarter cup of finely chopped red onion. Toss gently to mix, allowing the vibrant colors to show.
  2. In a separate smaller bowl, prepare the creamy dressing. Mix half a cup of mayonnaise with two tablespoons of Sriracha sauce, one tablespoon of honey, and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Whisk these ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour the prepared dressing over the vegetable mixture in the large bowl. Using a spatula or large spoon, gently toss all the ingredients together until evenly coated in the dressing.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least one hour to enhance the flavors.
  5. Before serving, give the slaw a good toss to redistribute any settling ingredients and dressing. Serve in generous portions on a platter or in individual bowls.
